Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE) is one of the largest and most legendary names in electronics. For over 100 years, ALE has served 830,000 global electronics and communications customers in over 130 countries. Through a series of mergers, acquisitions and spin offs, ALE needed to reinvent itself. They needed to build direct relationships with their B2B customers and balance the rapport between their partners, distributors, and customers. As a key part of this transformation, ALE wanted to update the brand, establish a new identity, and create a stronger direct connection with their customers through their web properties.
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise chose Tahzoo to help them reinvent themselves. Through a series of workshops, Tahzoo helped ALE define the customer experience challenge they faced. We defined what they wanted to communicate, specifically who their audience was and what they expected from ALE. Upon completion of the UX strategy exploration, Tahzoo actively participated in the software platform selection. We collaborated with the new brand agency and designed, developed, and built a brand new al-enterprise.com global website. Tahzoo was able to bring its strategy, UX design and systems implementation teams together to deliver ALE’s desired UX and business outcomes.
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise launched a new global brand website with a new content management platform, all in less than one year. The effort has resulted in a simplified digital asset production, approval and distribution process, reduced time to market, increased productivity, and improved brand compliance across their international markets. In the first-year post launch, ALE’s revenue reversed course and grew five percent.
