Building Better Moments for Deloitte Professionals
Deloitte, one of the Big 4, global accounting and auditing firms, is in the middle of a far reaching global digital transformation initiative. Re-imagining the way employees and client’s access and consume the proprietary knowledge that is key to the value Deloitte delivers is an essential component of the initiative. Advancement was limited by the constraints of existing technology, hampered by decentralization of efforts and the lack of a user-centered approach.
Deloitte chose Tahzoo to leverage best of breed solutions to design, build, deploy and support a more compelling global digital knowledge management, content experience for employees and clients in the audit and accounting category.
Differing from past efforts, in-depth first-person user research was conducted, identifying how practitioners and clients actually search for, consume, use and share Deloitte proprietary content and authoritative content originating from various national and global standards organizations. The insight informed the experience design effort to create a more intuitive and efficient content user experience and visual design.
The design experience was complimented by the re-platforming and consolidation of a global content management and publishing knowledge management system combining SDL Tridion Sites content management and publishing system (CMS) with SDL Tridion Docs component content system (CCMS).
In the first year, Tahzoo has used a design thinking approach to understand both the firm’s and the users’ needs, create a comprehensive content strategy, produced and tested a new user experience for a scalable, secure and initiative knowledge management portal and has developed the solution architecture for the new global content hub platform.
